What is C.A.R.
Communication Autism Resources (C.A.R.) is a nonprofit organization created to help nonverbal, underprivileged individuals diagnosed with autism or similar disabilities, with a focus in the areas of functional communication and assistive technology . C. A. R was founded to give individuals with speech delays a way to communicate. Our goal is to give every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, the chance to communicate through our assistive technology programs.

Our story
C.A.R was founded in 2020, My son at the age of 3, was diagnosed with autism and struggled with communication. I found myself indulging in the community resources and learning about A.B.A (applied behavioral analysis). Later, I acquired the knowledge of using pictures for communication and Assistive Technology. I want to share my experiences, knowledge, and journey to help others. I want to give back to the community. This is why I started Victor Autism Resources.
Being a parent of a son diagnosed with Autism, I understand the importance of functional communication and how it changes the quality of life. Through assistive technology, training and support, individuals will have the opportunity to communicate with their families and in the community.
I been involved in the autism community for over 20 years. I want parents to understand functional communication, how they can help their family, and how their child can be successful. I am passionate and though my experiences want to empower parents and set children up for success by supporting families in relation to functional communication.
